The Amazing Relationship Between Struggle and Success

Two Sides of The Same Coin

While some may think that the harder one struggles, the less likely they will be able to succeed, nothing could be further from the truth. Believe it or not, the answer to your success can be found in your struggles. Because we live in a fast-paced world that can only feel successful, competent, powerful, adequate, and worthy through immediate gratification, we often do not see the wisdom in examining our failures. Why should we? It’s not Facebook or Instagram worthy! Nevertheless, Martha Beck, an American sociologist said, “how you do one thing is how you do everything.” Therefore, if you never examine your failures or mistakes, then the outcome will always be the same. Furthermore, while it may be tempting to blame others, the truth of the matter is that you will have no one else to blame but yourself. Why? Because if it’s your success that you want to achieve, then it will be your effort, ambition, commitment, focus, and yes—even your mistakes and failures that will help you finally achieve it! Use every morsel of failure and crumb of crappiness as opportunities to learn and grow from! Then use that insight to finally get it right!
